Blue Giant being the new psych-country-rock band featuring members of Viva Voce, The Decemberists, Swords, & The Golden Bears. How excited are we? Very. The EP will only exist on this website and at the bands shows and will be "released" on Jan.20th, 2009 (the day O'bama takes office!), but you can get it right-freaking-now via the LINK HERE. We got the CD's and digi-download action and our good friends at Jealous Buther Records are putting it out on amazing 180 gram 12" vinyl with two additional tracks - a Byrds cover & a Kinks cover. Pretty cool we think. WALLS TO THE WALL The Golden Bears debut LP Wall To Wall is now available! We'll be releasing their debut full length in beautiful vinyl and digi formats. "Wall to Wall" is 11 tracks of amazing psych gems from Portland's Seth Lorinczi & Julianna Bright. Formerly of The Quails, their musical history spans two coasts and too many amazing bands to list. This release is a treat & we're pumped to be adding it here soon. BEST NEW JAMS We got the new Viva reissue in. Amazing that's all. Street date of Oct.9th, but we're taking preorders now. LOCAL LOVE / NATIONAL SCALE: So we've already shifted things around a bit. We're now officially a part of the BuyOlympia.com family - & we couldn't be more vamped.
